Flexibility , Feedback , being Realistic & Persistence

Despite the ongoing Economic Uncertainties and the consequent lack of Business confidence in the immediate Future ,there are still Opportunities out there and People are moving Roles . There’s lots of advice that can be sourced ,but a few things to consider include the following .

  1. Be Flexible . Your Ideal role may not be immediately available , but a ‘Stepping Stone ‘ may be ,whether that be  a slightly different Permanent,Interim or Contract Role .
  2.  Take on Board all the feedback you get from your Interviews/Assessment centres /OPQ’s etc . You may need to change your sights  in the current Market .
  3.  Be Realistic . Employers  have expectations for the Roles they are looking to hire for ,hopefully outlined in a good Job description . Do you meet these requirements ,and can you prove it to them ?
  4.  Be Persistent . Very few Candidates land a Role at their first attempt . You will normally have to make multiple  applications over a period of time to land a suitable Role ,at any level ……unless you possess an extremely ‘Hard to find’ skillset & background .

No Rocket Science here …….just a bit of Common Sense !
