In March ,the OBR ( Office for Budget responsibility) forecast that the long term Economic damage to the UK from the Covid Pandemic would be 3% of GDP ,but now believes it will only be 2%. At the same time ,it estimated UK GDP growth of 4% this Year ,now the forecast is for 6% . While Covid still remains very much an Issue and there are other headaches to deal with ( rising fuel prices , increasing inflation , Supply chain Problems , Pressure on Household Budgets etc ), the outlook for 2022 is more optimistic than expected ……..Let’s hope it stays this way !
