It’s a tough time still for many UK Households ( with the exception of the very wealthy !) as the ‘Cost of Living’ crisis continues to bite and food inflation ,in particular,remains at record levels . However so far ,the UK has avoided falling into ‘Recession ‘ ,although only just , and overall inflation has dropped from last year’s peak . Indeed some groups of striking workers have now agreed new pay settlements ,but many continue with industrial action . Experts seem to be a little bit more optimistic about the UK ‘s fortunes in the rest of the Year ahead . Let’s hope they are right !
